The streets of Vegas are filled with people, on the move, light blinking, the sounds of the machines echoing out of the doors, as they open by men in suits.
Spending time in Vegas for us as climbers seems like a bit of a waist of time. Big time! We look at it as its something you have to do if you go to Vegas. Rent a room with a few people, everyone takes turns having a shower, off to the all you can eat buffets, and then to drinking some beers and playing a bit of slots, of black jack, whatever. We managed to limit our spending to 20$ US, and that was pushing it. Twenty bucks will last ya a couple of days in the desert.

Treasure Island
This place for me was kind of a thrill, as a boy I had always wanted, or at least have dreamed about being a Pirate. Just to watch the acted out fight between the two ships, and then one sinking. Now if you look at the size of this ship, there would be twenty plus human men on this ship, this thing is huge, full size looking, and the sink it in front of your eyes, that pool of water is pretty deep. |

The Mirage
Another cool and interesting display of fire, shooting so high and the explosions are vibrating cross the chest. Many other shows are being shown all up and down the Vegas strip. Caesars Palace is an illusion sort of show. Too Many things to see and do, so little time. |

The Stardust
The Stardust, another huge Casino along the bright and flashy crazy people Vegas Street. We decided to play some slots in this casino, we did not see any, No taking picture signs, well we managed to squeeze off one picture, and someone was on us instantly. The guard almost took the camera and the film, but decided to let us go with it. |
