Ibex, in the middle of nowhere, quartzite rock climbing and bouldering.
I would like to start by thanking Stewart Midwinter for the photos, he had a digital camera, and we ended up just using that, for all the pictures on the trip. He burnt off a copy of the pictures for me, which I am using for these shots for everyones entertainment.

The Cliffs of IBEX, Utah
The desert floor butts right up against the impressive walls of IBEX. The rock has a wild orange tinge to it. In many places it has a marble looking look to it. Mixed with brown and black patches, the orange and white patches become a mixed up fruit salad.

Wolf and Sheeps Clothing 5.8 20m M
The undeveloped wall of Sheep Clothing has only this one climb. There is potential for many climbs all along this wall. I will be making another trip to this area in April with the intentions of putting a couple of more climbs in this area with Topos for James Garrett, The author of the Guide Book.

Kelly Leading Wolf & Sheeps Clothing 5.8
The roof above the climb has an overlap which I believe has big enough holds to climb. So I am hoping with permision giving this route a second pitch finish that may be close to 5.12, or harder.

Kelly climbing Snake Skin 5.9 2pitch
The wild rock gives you endless things to look at. The big chimney gives the impression of climb me and I am not a Chimney man. But this could be a very adventurous easy chimney route.

Kelly Leading the first Pitch of the Quarter Moon Tower 5.10a mix 30m..
This climb is a must do for anyone that come to Ibex to climb. Yes this place is known for the bouldering, but with my help I hope to turn this around to more rock climbing paradise. No water just sand.
