Fear is now concurred!
I never though I had the chance back in 96 to even try and get the red point, Fear & Loathing is steep.

November 2001, I am on a road trip again, and now standing looking at the beast that slapped me silly last time I was on it. Well I wasnt going to let it do that to me again, I roped up with confidence that I was going to show this climb who was boss. First clip yeah, second clip yeah, and then, TAKE. Well I managed to hangdog the route again to the chains, thinking that I am just not in shape for this route.

I watched a couple of other climbers take their turn with a bit more grace than I. Once studied the moves that these gentlemen did, I got on the rope not even sure if I was going to do it or not. Brett at the belay ready for the whip. I went for it, all the way to the chains for the Pink Point (draws hanging). Three tries in five years, and I sent the awesome route.
